Pirates storm Indonesian tanker
Pirates have attacked a gas tanker in the Malacca Strait, kidnapping its captain and chief engineer for ransom, a watchdog said.
The International Maritime Bureau (IMB) said about 35 pirates with rocket launchers stormed the Indonesian-owned MT Tri Samudra late on Saturday.

Toilet Paper Algorithms
When we remodeled our home, we decided to install a dual toilet-tissue holder. Most home toilets have a single holder for a single roll. A single roll, however commonplace, is, well, shall I say, awkward. When the roll empties, then what?

KNOPPIX 3.8
Klaus has released the latest version of Knoppix, 3.8, to the crowd at CeBIT 2005. This version includes the normal round of updates including the 2.6.11 kernel by default, KDE 3.3.2, and Firefox and Thunderbird instead of Mozilla.
