France Gets Gay TV

France's first TV cable network targeted towards gays and lesbians began broadcasting last night. It follows in the steps of gay cable networks in Italy and Canada, which are both struggling financially.

Cuba Will Stop Accepting US Dollars

Communist Cuban leader Fidel Castro has announced his country will no longer accept US dollars as of November 8th. This is in response to a tightening of sanctions by the US.
