Filesharing bald auch auf dem Handy
Nokia arbeitet derzeit an einem ersten Netzwerk, welches Filesharing mit dem Handy möglich machen soll. Hierfür wurde ein angepasstes 6600 Modell getestet. Derzeit ist es in diesem Prototyp-Netzwerk möglich, Bilder und Texte zu tauschen.

U2 to drop ‘Atomic Bomb’ in November

Hungary's next PM rapped over "wife" remark
Hungarian women's groups have lashed out at Prime Minister-in-waiting Ferenc Gyurcsany for comparing the way the Socialist Party dumped his predecessor to a married man who abandons his ageing wife for a younger woman.
The party had sacked Peter Medgyessy in the same way as "...anyone whose wife is getting old deserves a younger one," Gyurcsany -- a thrice-married 43-year-old millionaire -- told Hungarian television earlier this month.

Helge Schneider (49), Musiker und Entertainer, trauert um seinen Kater Fritz. Der 13 Jahre alte Vierbeiner, der Schneider Ruhm und Ehre beschert hatte, stürzte am Montag aus einem Fenster im 4. Stock der Berliner Wohnung seiner Tochter Farina (21). Das teilte Schneiders Manager heute mit.

Court Denies 'Sex Bail' for Prisoner
An Indian court has refused to release a Muslim, charged over the train torching that triggered Gujarat's Hindu-Muslim rioting two years ago, so he could go home to have sex with his wife.
The special court in Gujarat's main city, Ahmedabad, said if it granted bail in this case, many other prisoners would ask for the same thing, officials said on Tuesday.
Firozkhan Zafarkhan sought bail last month, saying he and his wife suffered mental trauma because they had not had sex for a long time.

Car Thieves End Up Behind Bars... at the Zoo
Two Brazilian car thieves started their life behind bars while still on the run when they chose a cage in a Rio de Janeiro zoo to hide from police, officials said on Monday.
A zoo keeper told Reuters the pair were found hiding in an enclosure where deer and tapir are kept after police chased the fugitives into the zoo on Sunday.

Microsoft warns of poisoned picture peril
The old bromide that promises you can't get a computer virus by looking at an image file crumbled a bit further Tuesday when Microsoft announced a critical vulnerability in its software's handling of the ubiquitous JPEG graphics format.
The security hole is a buffer overflow that potentially allows an attacker to craft a special JPEG file that would take control of a victim's machine when the user views it through Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word, and other programs. The poisoned picture could be displayed on a website, sent in email, or circulated on a P2P network.

Brazil is world 'hacking capital'
Brazil has become the global capital for computer hacking and internet fraud, according to experts meeting in the country's capital, Brasilia.
Some 500 experts from around the world are attending the first international conference to combat electronic crime.
Brazil is home to eight out of 10 of the world's hackers, according to federal police at the conference.
