"Rasterfahndung" im Finanzministerium
Schwere Vorwürfe gegen Finanzminister Karl-Heinz Grasser kommen von der Personalvertretung im Finanzministerium und von der SPÖ. Wie der Chef der Finanzgewerkschaft, Klaus Platzer, der APA bestätigt, werden Finanzbeamte, etwa vor Beförderungen, seit einem dreiviertel Jahr einer Art "Rasterfahndung" unterzogen.

Kreis-CDU-Webseite gehackt: Atomtest auf Erftstadt (Eifel) angekündigt
Bereits am Montag fanden Besucher der CDU-Webseite des Rhein-Erft-Kreises in der Eifel ein übles Werk von noch unbekannten Eindringlingen.
So wurde auf dieser Webseite für den Dienstag ein Atomtest über der Eifelstadt Erftstadt, 20 km südwestlich von Köln gelegen, angekündigt. Die Waffe mit der Bezeichnung 'X3FS5H2' werde dann in der Atmosphäre gezündet, hiess es.

Massenmörder darf im Knast kein Make-up tragen
Im australischen Melbourne hat heute ein Gericht einen Antrag eines verurteilten Massenmörders abgelehnt. Dieser hatte angefragt, ob er während des Absitzens seiner 30-jährigen Haftstrafe, Make-up auflegen darf.

Days after California Governor called the state Democrats "girlie men" for not passing a budget by the deadline a entrepreneur started selling T-shirts over the Internet saying "Sacramento Girlie Men".
The states Republicans saw an opportunity to make money as well and are now starting to sell T-shirts saying "Don't be a Girlie Man. Vote Republican."

Liscense plate reads "No Tag" receives flood of tickets
A Deleware man ordered a comical license plate that read "No Tag" for his motorcycle.
He received the tag along with tons of tickets that read "no tag". All of the tickets read "Notice of violation. Liscense number: no tag."

Canadian Pot Use Doubled Over Past 13 Years
A new report released by Statistics Canada shows that marijuana use has doubled over the past 13 years. The highest rates of use were found be among teens. Higher usage of harder drugs such as heroin and and LSD is also on the up.
