Wieder Verletzte bei Stierrennen in Pamplona
Das traditionelle Stierrennen in Pamplona hat heute einen blutigen Höhepunkt erreicht: Mindestens 14 Menschen wurden verletzt. Acht von ihnen wurden von Stierhörnern aufgespießt, wie die Behörden mitteilten.
Heute fand der sechste Lauf des San-Fermin-Festival statt, der letzte ist für den Mittwoch angesetzt.

IE vs. Mozilla on the Shell Hole—Whose Bug Is It?
Opinion: Mozilla exposed the scheme, opened the hole. Now it's a debate in security circles. But the only way this is a vulnerability in Windows is if it's a vulnerability for a shell to be able to run programs.
In the wake of last week's revelation of a security hole in Mozilla that allows the execution of arbitrary programs on the client system a philosophical debate has emerged: Is this a bug in Mozilla or a bug in Windows?

Pelicans mistake Arizona asphalt for lakes
Over 30 endangered brown pelicans have dived onto the pavement in Arizona. Apparently they made the mistake of thinking the heat-induced shimmer of the paved surface was a lake.

Couple has sex on stage; refuses to pay fine
In the middle of a Cumshots concert a Norwegian couple got on stage, took off their clothes and had sex.
The concert was to benefit a "save the rainforest campaign". The young couple states that they did it to save the rain forest.

Major blackouts hit Greece
A POWER outage hit Athens and other parts of Greece on Monday, cutting off air conditioning as temperatures pushed past 40C and blacking out most Olympic venues as crews raced to finish work before the games start.
The blackout hit more than 75 per cent of greater Athens, stranding rail commuters in the city that is home to nearly 5 million people, police said.

Won't travel to US ever again
Terming as 'ordeal' his strip-search twice in Dulles airport in the US capital area when he was defence minister, George Fernandes on Sunday said he had decided not to visit America in future.
Fernandes told reporters at Muzaffarpur circuit house that despite repeated request of the Indian ambassador to the US, the American officials strip-searched him once on an official visit to Washington and on another occasion en route to Brazil.

Plane clips van in emergency freeway landing
An Arizona man was charged with flying a plane while intoxicated Saturday after he was forced to land his plane on northbound Interstate 5 near Santa Clarita, clipping a van in the process.
Neither the pilot, 53-year-old Marc South, nor the occupants of the van were injured, California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Joy said.
