Fuel for private rocket 'bouncy' and hilarious!
The hybrid fuel that powered the rocket engine of SpaceShipOne, a private space exploration endeavor, is made of material related to rubber tires and laughing gas. Both the spacecraft and the engine have an exotic design.

Exploding vending machine ejects chemical weapon into hospital
A food service employee was working on a vending machine in a Houston hospital when a small explosion cause a fire, which caused the freon gas from the cooling system to chemically change into phosgene, once used as a chemical weapon.

Hackers Planting Malicious Code on Major Web Sites
Internet scammers appear to be using three flaws in Microsoft products to place malicious code on popular web sites. Hackers struck Microsoft's Internet Information Server web site and planted code that plants keystroke recording software.

Record for Nude Photo Shoot Broken
With 2,754 people disrobing on a chilly day in Cleveland, Ohio, artist Spencer Tunick broke the North American record for the number of people nude in a photo shoot. The previous record for the continent was 2,500 in Tunick's Montreal photo shoot.
This new record does not come close to the international record Tunick set when 7,000 people disrobed last year for his shoot in Barcelona, Spain. This time Tunick separated the groups by male and female. He took photos near a museum and stadium.

Ein neue Gelegenheit, durch Partneragenturen in China neue Bekanntschaften kennen zu lernen, ergibt das sogenannte “Speeddating“.
Dabei treffen sich zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit in einem Lokal 50 Frauen und genau so viele Männer. Das Ziel ist es, sich in kürzester Zeit "näher zu kommen”.

Anti-Drogen-Tag in China
Heute ist chinesischer Anti-Drogen-Tag. Aufgrunddessen sind heute 67 Menschen hingerichtet worden. Es handelte sich dabei um Rauschgiftkriminelle. Außerdem gab es in mehreren Städten Demonstrationen mit mehreren tausend Teilnehmern.

Der Dokumentarfilm 'Fahrenheit 9/11' ist auf dem besten Weg, die Spitze der US-amerikanischen Kino-Charts zu erobern. Allein am Freitag erreichte er einen Umsatz von 8,2 bis 8,4 Mio. Dollar und lag damit sogar deutlich vor der Komödie 'White Chicks'.

Nachdem Intel erst am vergangenen Montag seine neuen Chipsätze präsentiert hat, teilte das Unternehmen am vergangenen Samstagabend mit, dass durch die Chipsätze PC-Abstürze sowie Boot-Verweigerungen verursacht werden können.
