Google launches new services
The internet leader in web searching Google, has announced today that they're rolling out two new web services for site operators.
In what seems to be a move to extend it's advertising and search business Google launched AdSense and Site-Flavored. The first is aimed at delivering targeting ads to unsuspecting browsers and the later allows websites to customize search results.

Italy: No more mobile phone cheating on exams
The Enrico Tosi Technical Institute has found a way to stop would-be cheaters inside the test rooms using military technology.
Students attempting to send text messages or scanning pictures of tests will be jammed by a device called C-Guard. The devices could eventually be installed across Italy to prevent cheating.

Muss die Londoner Kunstszene jetzt bangen? Ein selbst ernannter "Kunst-Terrorist" mit dem Pseudonym AK47 hat schon zum zweiten Mal völlig unbemerkt ein Kunstwerk von einem öffentlichen Platz "entführt".
In einem kuriosen Interview behauptet er jetzt, er sei der Kopf der "internationalen arto-politischen Bewegung" "Art Kaida". Während AK47 bei seinem letzten "Kunstnapping" noch Lösegeld und eine "radikale Umorientierung" der Kunstwelt gefordert hatte, will er diesmal seine Beute in wenigen Tagen zurückgeben - "in angemessenem Zustand".

Johnson's Body Found Near Saudi Capital
Saudi security officials have said that the body of the American Paul M. Johnson Jr has been found in the al-Munisiyah district near Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh. The area has been sealed off.
As previously reported on sn, a message was posted on the internet in the name of Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula saying that Johnson has been beheaded after a 72 hour deadline wasn't met.

Der in Saudi-Arabien entführte US-Bürger Paul Johnson ist enthauptet worden. Die Geiselnehmer zeigten die Ermordung des 49-Jährigen auf Video und Fotos, die auf mehreren Islamisten- Internetseiten veröffentlicht wurden.
Die Entführer hatten am Mittwoch damit gedroht, den Ingenieur einer US-Rüstungsfirma am Freitag zu töten, sollte das saudi-arabische Königshaus nicht alle mutmaßlichen Extremisten aus den Gefängnissen entlassen.
