Music Industry Seeks Digital Radio Copying Limits
Digital radio broadcasts that bring CD-quality sound to the airwaves could lead to unfettered song copying if protections are not put in place, a recording-industry trade group warned on Friday. Without copy protections, music fans could cherry-pick songs off the air and redistribute them over the Internet, further deepening the copyright woes of record labels, the Recording Industry Association of America said.

Polling stations are in action across the EU for elections to the European parliament - that all important body behind legislation ranging from the length of Europeans' working day to the curvature of fruit. But however integral to the lives of Europeans as the parliament may be - there is little doubt that the election campaign elicits more ennui than enthusiasm among voters.

Ready To Celebrate World Naked Bike Ride Day?
Saturday marks World Naked Bike Ride Day, and activities are planned in Portland, Seattle, Olympia and Bellingham.
Seattle organizer Daniel Johnson says at least 50 riders have shown interest in his city. Riders plan to gather at Gasworks Park at noon and ride to the Seattle Center to splash in the International Fountain.
