Der wahre Grund für den Rücktritt von CIA-Chef Tenet?
Der US-Senat hat einen Untersuchungsbericht zur Arbeit des CIA in Auftrag gegeben. Dieser kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass der CIA 'schlampig' gearbeitet hat. Auch die CIA-Arbeit im Irak wird kritisiert.
Dieser Bericht, der im Juni veröffentlicht werden soll, könnte der wahre Grund für den Rücktritt des CIA-Chefs sein.

Rauchverbot in Pubs und Restaurants bald auch in Großbritannien?
Nachdem in Irland vor einigen Monaten das Rauchen in Pubs und Bars verboten wurde, denkt auch die britische Regierung über solch ein Verbot nach. Es laufen zur Zeit Beratungen über ein Verbot des Zigarettenkonsums an öffentlichen Plätzen.

The reports reveal that 5 of the 9 Justices are millionaires. The reports also show that most of the income is reported through books and legal opinions.
One Justice made an immediate impact by a merger with a profit of 25.5 million in just one year. Another has acquired Real Estate trust reaching value of 23.4 million.

Ferrari Opens First China Showroom
Dozens of Ferraris cruised through Shanghai as the Italian sports car maker opened its first Chinese showroom on Saturday, joining a stream of foreign luxury brands targeting newly rich Chinese buyers. The company said it hopes to double sales in China this year of its Ferrari and Maserati brands to 200 cars - each priced at up to $360,000. It plans to open dealerships in 11 mainland cities over the next 18 months.

Stones Bassist Gets Guitar Back
early 40 years after he lost it, Rolling Stones bass player Bill Wyman has one of his guitars back, thanks to a New Zealand musician. The rare guitar, called a Wyman bass, was one of a small number that the manufacturer Vox made in the 1960s, and the only Vox guitar adorned with an endorser's name: Wyman.

Man who bulldozed through Colo. town is dead
A muffler shop owner who plowed his makeshift armored bulldozer into several buildings over a dispute with city officials was found dead in the machine after a SWAT team gained access with explosives, authorities said.

Snake Causes Transformer Fire, Outage
After avoiding power outages from recent storms, this community was plunged into darkness by a snake searching for a place to nap.
The bull snake crawled into a breaker box at the city's power station about 2:30 a.m. Thursday and caused a fire that damaged the main transformer, leaving 2,300 customers without electricity for more than 10 hours.

Mit einem Bulldozer hat ein verärgerter Geschäftsmann eine Kleinstadt im Westen der USA in Angst und Schrecken versetzt.
Der etwa 50-jährige Mann steuerte mit seiner mit Stahlplatten verstärkten Planierraupe in Granby im US-Bundesstaat Colorado in mehrere Gebäude hinein und riss Strommasten nieder, wie die Polizei mitteilte.

MAN IN BULLDOZER GOES ON RAMPAGE
A 52-year-old welder nursing a grudge against the town fathers and driving a bulldozer converted into a war machine ripped the heart of this high-country ranching town from its foundations Friday.
Among the structures destroyed or heavily damaged in a relentless 90-minute rampage were Granby's town hall and library, a bank, the town's newspaper, an electric cooperative building, Gambles Store, an excavating business and a house owned by the town's former mayor, as well as a concrete plant adjacent to the business of the man believed responsible for the bizarre assault.

Judge rules Hempfest can be held
Ohio Hempfest, an annual pro-marijuana event at Ohio State University, will go on this weekend as planned, a judge ruled Friday. The event's organizers were notified Tuesday that the university was canceling the event, which draws thousands of people. University officials said organizers did not follow the rules and they were concerned about public safety. The festival's organizer, Students for Sensible Drug Policy, then asked U.S. District Court Judge Algenon Marbley to overturn the university's decision to cancel the event.
