President Bush keeps the former dictator's pistol at arm's reach
When Saddam Hussein was rousted from his spider hole in Dawr, a town near Tikrit, by U.S. soldiers last December, Iraq's fallen dictator was clutching a pistol. He is now in detention at an undisclosed location, being questioned by American authorities and awaiting charges for war atrocities and crimes against humanity. But what ever happened to the pistol?

Government and industry must act to stop the gradual poisoning of our children
Think back four years to the health crisis that shocked the Government. Thinness was the problem. A Minister, alarmed that pictures of superwaifs were persuading young women to starve themselves, convened a body image summit. Magazine editors duly promised fewer toast-rack physiques and more plump models, such as Sophie Dahl.

Disney verkauft Moores neuen Film
Nach dreiwöchigen Verhandlungen um Michael Moores Anti-Bush-Film "Fahrenheit 9/11" haben sich der Disney-Konzern und die beiden Chefs der Produktionsfirma Miramax, Harvey und Bob Weinstein, geeinigt. Wie das Fachblatt "The Hollywood Reporter" am Freitag berichtete, kauften die Weinstein-Brüder als Privatpersonen aus eigener Tasche die Rechte an dem Film auf. Dabei soll es sich um eine Summe von rund sechs Millionen Dollar (fünf Millionen Euro) handeln.

Weinsteins buy Moore movie rights
Michael Moore's documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 has moved a step closer to being released in US cinemas after the rights were bought by Miramax's founders.
The studio's founders, Harvey and Bob Weinstein, personally bought back the rights from parent company Disney, which had refused to distribute it.

'The Ford Estate was notorious in the Eighties. I wouldn't have wanted to live there. Always in the papers, always being vandalised, loads of drug use. One of the worst estates in Birkenhead. There was no purpose for those kids, no point, because there were no jobs. Norman Tebbit told us to get on our bikes, but it's quite hard to ride a bike to London on heroin.

Die erste Internet-Kirche in Großbritannien hat mit eigenwilligen Besuchern zu kämpfen. Mehrere User missbrauchen die Offenheit des 3D-Portals für Beschimpfungen.
Deswegen wurde jetzt der „Shout“-Button entfert, über den sich jeder an alle Anwesenden wenden konnte. Auch der Bereich der virtuellen Apsis mit Kanzel, Pult und Altar wurde erst einmal geschlossen.

XXX Church Starts "The Number One Christian Porn Site"
Two young California pastors have set up a web site to tackle pornography. Their reasoning is that the church isn't doing enough about the temptation pornography represents to believers. They call their site "The number one Christian porn site".
