Buying162 gallons of gas when truck holds 31 was a tip to cops


A man was sentenced to five months in prison for using 270 counterfeit Postal Service credit cards to buy $230,000 worth of gasoline at 203 different stations.

According to prosecutors, federal agents watched one day as Humberto Ulloa, 27, drove his 1992 Chevy pickup to several Miami area stations and made seven consecutive purchases of gas, totaling more than 162 gallons.

Motorroller-Fahrer schläft an roter Ampel im Stehen ein


In Düren (Nordrhein-Westfalen) musste ein stark alkoholisierter Rollerfahrer an einer roten Ampel stoppen.

Während der 48 Jahre alte Mann auf 'Grün' wartete, schlief er ein und fiel mitsamt seinem Motorroller um. Trotz des Sturzes schlief der 48-Jährige weiter.

Man takes marijuana to court with him


A court in Malaysia heard a man's case who begged for leniency on a marijuana charge. He was arrested again when police found more in his pocket.

He told the courts that he was a first time offender and about to get married. The judge ordered him to pay a fine.

VW übergibt letzten hergestellten "Käfer" an den Papst

Dieses wurde durch den Präsidenten der mexikanischen Volkswagen-Konzessionäre, Luis Manuel Abella Armella, und einer Delegation im Vatikan dem Papst übereignet. Johannes Paul II. kann den Wagen aufgrund seiner Erkrankung jedoch nicht verwenden.

Radio-Moderatorin bejubelt Ohrfeige gegen den Kanzler


Am vorigen Mittwoch hatte eine Radio-Moderatorin die Ohrfeige gegen den Bundeskanzler Schröder bejubelt. Dies geschah bei ihrer Live-Moderation 'Guten Morgen Sachsen Anhalt' um 8.26 Uhr.

Sie erklärte, die Tat des 52-Jährigen habe sich zum ersten Mal eine Person getraut. Viele würden sie auch gerne begangen haben, doch davor hätten die meisten Menschen zu sehr Angst vor den Konsequenzen.
