Public peeing suspect attempts to ship himself to Cape Verde
With a court day approaching for public urination, a 22 yr old man was planning his escape. His friends delivered him in a box to ship to Cape Verde.
The crate never left the warehouse and four days later a friend of his alerted police. When the police opened the container they found a dehydrated and very confused man.
The mans sister stated: "He is just that way. He has always been kind of adventurous."

FBI Apologizes for Falsely Arresting Lawyer for Terrorism
The FBI apologized for arresting Brandon Mayfield, a 37 y.o. lawyer who used to be an officer in the military and recently converted to Islam. The FBI thought his fingerprint was on a bag of detonators used in the March Madrid bombing.

A newly released study has found that nearly half the ties worn by doctors harbour bacteria known to cause hospital acquired infections. Security guards had much cleaner ties, with only 1 in 10 harbouring germs.

KCBS traffic plane lands in, well, traffic
A KCBS traffic reporter became part of the traffic report this morning when the small plane he was in made an emergency landing on an East Bay freeway -- causing a traffic slowdown.
No one was injured in the incident, which happened about 8:30 a.m. when the Cessna 172 apparently ran out of gas while en route to the Hayward municipal airport and landed on westbound Interstate 580 at Highway 238 in Castro Valley, authorities said.

Nuclear Experiment Planned in Nevada
Government scientists plan to conduct an underground nuclear experiment Tuesday at the Nevada Test Site, the National Nuclear Security Administration said. The subcritical experiment, dubbed "Armando," will involve detonating high explosives around plutonium in a steel sphere while X-rays, radar and lasers chart the behavior of the radioactive element in a non-nuclear explosion.

Baby born from 21-year-old sperm
A couple have given birth to a baby boy who was conceived using 21-year-old sperm, it has emerged.
Doctors at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester, where the baby was born two years ago, said the age of the sperm may make it a world record.
