"Honigtopf" verrät sich
Honeyd ist ein Dienst zum Betreiben eines eigenen Honeypots. "Honigtöpfe" sollen potenzielle Angreifer auf die falsche Spur führen und von den Produktiv-Systemen ablenken. Honeypots locken neugierige Hacker an, in dem sie interessante und verwundbare Server auf unbelegten IP-Adressen simulieren. In der kontrollierten Umgebung können dann die Aktivitäten des digitalen Einbrechers beobachtet werden.

FBI joins hunt for Half-Life code
The FBI has joined efforts to track down those who took part of the computer code of one of the year's most highly anticipated games, Half-Life 2.
Federal agents mounted a dawn raid on a San Franciscan computer programmer last week, seizing hardware and software.

once AGAIN Gabriel to launch musicians' union
Rock legends Peter Gabriel and Brian Eno plan to launch on Monday a musicians' union to help artists stand their ground in the digital age.
The union will be called Mudda, short for "magnificent union of digitally downloading artists".
