The Cyber Toaster Museum
The process of scorching bread to preserve it spread through many cultures. The word toast comes from the Latin Torrere, Tostum - to scorch or burn. The Romans, in their conquests, took their love of toasted bread with them and spread the custom farther, even up into Britain. Later, English colonists brought the tradition to the Americas.

The Most Beautiful Periodic Table Displays in the World
We are very pleased to announce the availability of a new line of periodic table displays which we are producing in partnership with Theodore Gray in the USA. These large installations are intended for public access in museums, science centers and other locations where the elements are a subject of interest. The first of these displays was recently installed at DePauw University in Indiana (see story on the right). Scroll down to explore each element in the display.

Polizist mischte Drogen in Kaffee
Ein Villacher Polizist muss sich am Mittwoch wegen schwerer Körperverletzung verantworten. Ihm wird vorgeworfen, Kollegen Drogen und Medikamente in den Kaffee gemischt zu haben. Ihm drohen bis zu drei Jahre Haft.
