SPAM for President!
Going through the logs generated by Webalizer I discovered that I'd had four hits from a the URL www.sharpton2004.org. Interesting, considering that this is the Al Sharpton For President site. I seriously doubt that Al has linked to my site from his. So he has a bot dumping reference SPAM in logs. Nice! You're not getting my vote, man! If I could've voted, that is.

Things You Never Knew Existed Shocking Roulette Game
Feel The Fear! Fear isn't the only thing you'll feel when you play this exciting game of chance. It's truly electrifying! Select the number of players, put your finger in one of the four slots, and let it "spin." Lights and sounds start out fast and gradually slow down (just like a roulette wheel) to prolong the tension.

Heritrix
Heritrix is the Internet Archive's open-source, extensible, web-scale, archival-quality web crawler project.
Heritrix (sometimes spelled heretrix , or misspelled or missaid as heratrix / heritix / heretix / heratix ) is an archaic word for inheritess . Since our crawler seeks to collect the digital artifacts of our culture for the benefit of future researchers and generations, this name seemed apt.

John Titor
Was he a brilliant fraud, or an ordinary soldier from 2036?
John Titor is the name of a purported time traveller from the year 2036. He posted on several Internet bulletin boards during 2000/2001.
Although strong debate still rages about the veracity of both him and his story, it's extremely likely that John Titor was an Internet hoax. However, it's agreed by most that it's at least an entertaining and very elaborately constructed hoax, largely because the Titor story is literate, supported by reasonably sound scientific concepts, and consistent throughout. It is also supported by pictorial evidence, including a blueprint of the "time displacement" machine, as well as a photograph of it in use.

Why I Fucking Hate Weblogs!
Introduction: Weblogs are fucking stupid. Weblogs suck ass. What the fuck is up with this shit? Fuck. Who the fuck cares what these people think about oatmeal or what the UN did last week? Nobody! Who reads these weblogs? Nobody! Maybe fellow weblog authors read each others weblogs out of a sense of desperation...the feeling that if they read someone else's weblog, someone will read theirs. It's kindof like cooperative advertising too, people will cross-post, linking weblog entries to each other's weblogs. How fucking pathetic is that? I hate weblogs.

Mobile Robots Take Baby Steps
A robot dog could one day become a soldier's best friend -- if an Army program works out as planned.
Today's soldiers carry as much as 100 pounds of equipment. That's exhausting, even for the toughest grunt. In the future, the Army wants to dump up to half that gear onto the back of a drone. But military scientists are worried that robots with wheels won't be able to follow their human masters across mountain passes, up stairs and through forest trails.
