Joi Ito's Stuff

New blog about my stuff

I don't know if I need a separate blog for this, but I'm going to try it. This blog is a blog about stuff that I have, why I have it, and how I feel about it.

Quicktime VR from New Year 2004 Celebration at Times Square

The New Year Celebration at Times Square is famous. And so is the panorama last year by Jook Leung. Ranked among the top 10 during all 2003 at Google in searches for Times Square or New Years Eve. Now he has done it again.

I have seen many speculations in Forums about how a panorama like this is made. Some people are absolutely sure that it is made with a special camera which captures everything in one shot. I have also seen one saying that Jook used 6 cameras triggered simultaneously.
