Universität für Angewandte Kunst
Fachbereich Visuelle Mediengestaltung (Digitale Kunst)
- Fehlendes Material (Glühbirnen, Papier, Toner, Kabel, Adapter, Batterien)
- kein Geld für Projektunterstützung
- kein Geld für Exkursionen, Vorträge, Ausstellungen

The Birth of "The Metaweb" -- The Next Big Thing -- What We are All Really Building
Originally developed by Netscape, a new technology called RSS has risen from the dead to ignite the next-evolution of the Net. RSS represents the first step in a major new paradigm shift -- the birth of "The Metaweb." The Metaweb is the next evolution of the Web -- a new layer of the Web in fact -- based on "microcontent." Microcontent is a new way to publish content that is more granular, modular and portable than traditional content such as files, Web pages, data records, etc.

Annual Meeting 2004 WEF
"Partnering for Security and Prosperity" Davos, Switzerland, 21-25 January
There can be no prosperity without security, and security cannot be achieved in the absence of prosperity. Creating active partnerships is critical to ensure both.
While business is an engine of global growth, it requires an enabling environment: physical and political security and macroeconomic stability are two indispensable ingredients for business to fulfil its role in society.

Blogging will have the same effects to journalism as Napster & P2P to the music industry
I am extremely happy and honoured to get a role at an interactive session that will be held in Davos in January 2004 at the World Economic Forum, with Joi. Both of us as well as other people will debate with the participants about traditional media and blogs.

Turning A G4 Into A Fax Server
It's easy to turn a spare Mac into a web and fax server.
These instructions are a very quick-and-dirty tutorial for advanced Mac users, mainly just to get this information out there. Perhaps down the road, The Narrator will develop a more in-depth article, or even an application to handle this automatically.

Refrigerator Raider
Cleaning out the fridge can be fun and hazardous to your health It's early in the morning. Before work. Pre-shower. So you're pretty sure that ripe scent tickling your olfactories as you head into the kitchen is you. You grab a box of your favorite childhood cereal, then head to the fridge to get the milk. The scent grows stronger, and you assume the breeze created when you opened the fridge simply wafted your morning staleness toward your nostrils.

Our own Amazon princess
Back when Indonesia was part of Australia, a young woman left treasure in a cave. Deborah Smith reports.
SHE was tall and strong and in her late 20s when she died about 18,000 years ago. Her teeth were not worn down, so she had probably enjoyed a diet of wallaby and other animals rather than chewing on tough plants. And from the unusual holes in some of her bones, it is possible that cancerous growths contributed to her early demise.
