Other Computer Terms Banned by Los Angeles County
Los Angeles County recently asked vendors to stop using the term master/slave in product descriptions and labelling. Here are some other terms that they wanted changed and their alternatives.

Black Cat Banned From Tel Aviv Stairwell
An Israeli cat has been banned from circulating freely in the stairwell of a suburban Tel Aviv apartment building, apparently because its jet black color was frightening the residents.

There is finally a hi-tech gadget from Q's laboratory that can be had by the measly (albeit smart) masses who are not fortunate enough to carry a license to kill. Not even the likes of Auric Goldfinger would imagine that this inconspicuous Zippo look-alike actually contains a digital camera capable of holding over 300 images.

Neanderthal 'face' found in Loire
A flint object with a striking likeness to a human face may be one of the best examples of art by Neanderthal man ever found, the journal Antiquity reports.
The "mask", which is dated to be about 35,000 years old, was recovered on the banks of the Loire at La Roche-Cotard.
