Plakate und Postkarten mit der Aufschrift "Praktiziere oralen Sex!" sollten junge Leute auf die Gefahr der Immunschwächekrankheit hinweisen. Unter dem Slogan stand in kleineren Buchstaben:
"Sprich mit Deinem Partner über den Gebrauch von Kondomen!"

The day started like any other day — get up, dink around for a bit, bus into work, and start working through the stack of jobs. Just shy of an hour after I got in, my manager came in and asked me to step into his office when I had a chance. Sure, no biggie, and I headed over as soon as I finished the job I was setting up.

Leichenwagen verlor Toten auf Autobahn
Diese Verkehrsnachricht dürfte ziemlich einmalig sein: Bei einem Unfall mit einem Leichenwagen auf der A 40 Richtung Venlo wurde ein Toter auf die Fahrbahn geschleudert.

Graz 2003 ohne Schlussakkord? 800.000 Euro sind zu wenig. Statt der ursprünglich vom Land zugesagten 1,4 Millionen Euro bleiben nach Abzug von Mitteln für den steirischen herbst mehr als 800.000 Euro für das Schlussfest über. Das sei aber zu wenig, heißt es bei Graz 2003.

Women who perform the act of fellatio and swallow semen on a regular basis, one to two times a week, may reduce their risk of breast cancer by up to 40 percent, a North Carolina State University study found.

One might not think of death as an optimal career move, but for some celebrities, crossing over to the far side doesn't hurt their income in the least.
Take Tupac Shakur. The infamous rapper was gunned down in Las Vegas six years ago at age 25, but last year he sold 2.7 million albums and earned an estimated $7 million. In fact, Shakur--who had recorded some 200 unreleased tracks at the time of his murder--has put out more albums dead than alive.

Rabbis back Israeli 'guard pigs'
An organisation in Israel has gained rabbinical approval to train pigs to guard Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
Until now, Jewish settlements have been guarded by men with guns and also by guard dogs.
But a new idea - guard pigs - has been thought up by an organisation called The Hebrew Battalion.
