One in six 'original' Warhols is a copy
If you've just paid £5m for one of Andy Warhol's iconic Marilyn Monroe prints you'd better start searching for the great man's fingermarks. In a move that is alarming pop art collectors around the globe, the Warhol estate has re-classified as many as one in six of the pictures previously attributed to him as copies.

Man Accused of Stealing 440 Left Shoes
Police arrested a man for stealing shoes at a southern Japanese hospital then found a collection in his home of 440 women's shoes — all for the left foot. The private hospital in Usu city, 500 miles south of Tokyo, began receiving complaints two years ago from patients and employees that shoes removed at the entrance hall were disappearing.

Review of JVC's latest high-definition camcorder
Lengthy review over at Videography.com of JVC's HD10 video camera, their professional version of the GR-HD1, which was the world's first (and for the moment, only) high-definition digital camcorder for consumers. It ain't cheap, but it's still amazing that these days you can buy a high-definition video camera for less than $4,000.
