Rock Star Prince Spreads Religion Door-To-Door
Former rock star Prince has reportedly been going door-to-door sharing his Jehovah's Witnesses faith. She told the newspaper that the pair stayed for about 25 minutes, "reading Scriptures about being Jewish and the land of Israel," gave them a pamphlet and left. In her words, "It was so bizarre, you would have just laughed."

Woman calls police to get rid of spider
A Swiss woman claimed a burglar had broken into the offices where she was working late at night because she wanted police to come and get rid of a spider.
The young woman was alone in the office building in the Swiss district of Pfaeffikon near Zurich when she spotted the spider.

Von Januar bis Ende September habe der Lidl-Umsatz um 12,6 Prozent zugelegt; Aldi (Nord und Süd) komme nur auf ein Plus von 5,6 Prozent, berichtete die Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung.

Vater der "kleinen Hexe" feiert 80. Geburtstag
Wie stünde es bloß um unsere Phantasie ohne die kleine Hexe, das kleine Gespenst, Räuber Hotzenplotz und die anderen Gestalten aus dem Rübezahlweg! Dort nämlich, in einer kleinen Gemeinde bei Rosenheim, schreibt Otfried Preußler seine Geschichten. Heute wird er 80 Jahre alt.

Ancient carved 'faces' found
A keen-eyed archaeologist claims to have found some of the oldest artwork ever - carved faces 200,000 years old.
The human images were found in 2001 by Pietro Gaietto on an expedition through the Borzonasca district of Italy.
