Japanese police have arrested a 33-year-old transvestite man for theft and an act of obscenity against a 16-year-old girl and confiscated 420 items of female underwear and clothing.

Large Ape-Like Animal Seen In Northwest Arkansas
A large ape-like animal has been seen over the last several days in and around Decatur. Police Chief Coy Hendrix says he received two calls last week and another call Monday from people reporting that they have seen the animal.

According to an August 2003 article in the Washington Post, President Bush has spent all or part of 166 days during his presidency at his Crawford, Texas, ranch or en route. Add the time spent at or en route to the presidential retreat of Camp David and at the Bush family estate in Kennebunkport, Maine, and Bush has taken 250 days off as of August 2003.

Lindows to Microsoft: Buzz Off
Lindows.com defiantly told Microsoft Tuesday it will not remove a website that offers to process claims for Californians entitled to proceeds from a $1.1 billion class-action settlement with the software giant.
San Diego-based Lindows, which sells a Linux-based operating system, said Microsoft sent it a letter Friday ordering it to take down the site, MSfreePC.com, claiming it is deceptive, mischaracterizes terms of the settlement and may cause consumers to have their legal claims rejected by a claims administrator.

DOPJ launched a full scale investigation into what it believes are leakage points in the national protection moat. For the past few weeks an abnormal amount of water has been replaced by the pumps that supply the defensive moat with it's water.

Lost Walrus wallows in "warmth"
The tropical paradise of Oslo Norway
A giant walrus has been delighting residents of the Norwegian capital during a rare visit as he lolls around on a sandy beach that is, for him, the sunny south.
Experts say the tusked walrus, possibly a young male, is more accustomed to the harsh, wintry climate of the Norwegian Arctic around the Svalbard archipelago, some 1,275 miles north of Oslo.
