Einen Streit um eine TV-Fernbedienung hat ein 40-Jähriger mit dem Leben bezahlt. Er wurde von seinem Nachbarn getötet. Der Mann, der in U-Haft sitzt, wird sich wegen Körperverletzung mit tödlichem Ausgang verantworten müssen.

Haider to Stay on as Austrian State Governor

Monday, Mr. Haider announced his resignation as governor of Carinthia State, after his Freedom Party's severe losses in Sunday's parliamentary election. Support for the party was reduced by two-thirds, to just 10 percent.
