Kite Aerial Photography
This aerial camera mount is designed to use a Kodak® MAX outdoor camera (the one without the flash), triggering it with a KSB model airplane de-thermal timer. The design could be adapted to other timers and cameras, though specific dimensions would change. The rig is quite light - about 10 ounces ready to go - so it can be lofted in marginal conditions where a larger facier rig could not.

Switzerland is proud to bring you
Cowfighting
Combats de Reines "battle of the queens" You have heard of bull fights. But cow fights??
The rules are simple: 8 to 12 cows are lead into a ring. The cows wander around the ring. When two cows meet who do not like each other, a fight breaks out. The cows lock horns and push against each other to see which one is stronger. (kind of like arm wrestling) the cow which breaks and runs away has lost. The cows who win go on to the next round.

New Photos of Sun are Most Detailed Ever
The most detailed pictures ever taken of the Sun reveal the insides of striking snake-like filaments that reach from bright portions of the solar surface into the dark hearts of sunspots. The images promise astronomers a new way to reach deep into these magnetic beasts and extract their operational secrets.

Ooh, Barbie, that's no way to treat a lady
IT'S ENOUGH TO make Barbie and her long-serving boyfriend, Ken, blush with embarrassment. These dolls are her unofficial new cousins - but would look more at home in a sado-masochist's dungeon than in a girl's bedroom.

Cray's king-of-the-hill supercomputer
Comeback of the year
Cray announced on Thursday a new supercomputer that will leave its fastest counterparts in the dust. The maker of supercomputers, based in Seattle, says its X1 will offer up to 52.4 teraflops, or trillion mathematical calculations per second. Reaching that level requires 4,098 custom-designed 800MHz Cray processors.

Some residents of the American counter-cultural center Berkley, California, believe that the White House was concealing the truth about the attacks of September 11. People think that the twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed not by terrorists, but by aliens.

CIA Releases New 'Noah's Ark' Documents
Unfortunately, the release of the additional records does not offer any more proof of what the object might be, but only raises more questions as to why the CIA continues to hold such records as classified.

700-year-old picture of 'Mickey Mouse' found in Austrian church
Walt Disney first sketched his character in 1928 but an Austrian art historian spotted an uncannily similar drawing.
The painting, which has been dated back to the early 14th Century, is in the Community Church in Malta, Carinthia. Next to a large sketch of St. Christopher is a clear drawing of the mouse.
