Shuttle cam shows bird's-eye-view
The STS-112 mission, scheduled for launch on 2 October 2002. Space shuttle Atlantis will carry six astronauts and thousands of television viewers Wednesday on an amazing ride into space. For the first time, a video camera built into the top of the shuttle's orange external fuel tank will offer an unparalleled view of the launch from the shuttle's point of view.
